Created Without Apology
Scripture
You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. - Psalm 139:13–14 NLT
Devotional
You were not mass-produced. You were formed by God with intention. Your personality, gifts, story, and even your complexity are not accidents. God saw you before anyone else did. He knew you before you had a name.
Yet many people spend their lives trying to filter themselves into something more acceptable. We hide the scars. We cover the pain. We compare our lives to others and assume we need to become someone else before God can use us.
But God does not bless the fake version of you. He redeems the real you.
This does not mean we excuse sin or resist growth. Holiness still matters. Transformation still matters. But sanctification is not pretending. It is allowing God to cleanse, heal, and shape the person He already knows fully.
You do not have to be a copy. You are allowed to be God’s original work.
Reflection
Where have you been tempted to hide or perform?
How does it change your view of yourself to know God formed you intentionally?
Pray: “Lord, help me become holy without becoming fake.”
