Bring Your Little Bit

Scripture

“Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!” - Psalm 100:1–2 ESV

Devotional

Some days worship does not come easily. Life can leave us bruised, tired, frustrated, and spiritually worn down. There are moments when lifting our hands feels like lifting a thousand pounds. But worship is not about pretending we are strong. Worship is bringing whatever we have left and offering it to God.

God does not require polished performance. He receives honest surrender. A whisper can be worship. A tear can be worship. Showing up when you feel empty can be worship.

When God’s people gather, something powerful happens. One person brings a little faith. Another brings a little hope. Someone else brings a testimony of God’s goodness. Before long, all the “little bits” become a collective declaration: God is still worthy.

Worship is not denial of the fight. Worship is a battle cry in the middle of it.

Reflection

  • What has made worship difficult for you recently?
  • What “little bit” can you bring to God today?
  • Take a few minutes to worship honestly, even if all you can say is, “Lord, I need You.”
