Your Journey Can Minister to Others

Scripture

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. - 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 NIV

Devotional

No one wants to suffer. No one asks for hardship. Yet God has a way of using what we walk through to strengthen someone else.

The comfort God gives you is not meant to stop with you. The faith He builds in you, the endurance He forms in you, and the testimony He writes through you can become a lifeline for another person.

Sometimes, while you are still waiting on your own answer, God will place someone in your path who needs encouragement. You may feel weak. You may feel unqualified. You may still be carrying your own burden. But God can minister through wounded people who remain surrendered to Him.

Your pain is not wasted in the hands of God.

The delay, the detour, the unexpected season—none of it is meaningless when surrendered to Christ. He can use your story to remind someone else that He is present, faithful, and able.

You may not understand every part of your journey today, but trust this: God can bring purpose from places you never would have chosen.

Reflection

How has God comforted you in a difficult season?
Is there someone you can encourage with the comfort you have received?
Ask God to use your journey to bring hope to others.
