A New Thing Is Beginning
Scripture
“But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland." - Isaiah 43:18-19 NLT
Devotional
God is not finished. He has been faithful in the past, but He is not limited to what He has already done. He is able to do something new in you, through you, in your family, in your church, and in this generation.
Sometimes we cling to old seasons because they are familiar. Sometimes we fear the wilderness because we cannot see the road. But God promises to make a way where there seems to be no way. He brings rivers into dry places. He creates paths through impossible terrain.
The Spirit of God is still moving. The wind is still blowing. The call is still going out. God is raising up people of every age and background to carry the message of Jesus with power. This is a time to say yes. Yes to surrender. Yes to holiness. Yes to the Spirit. Yes to the mission. Yes to the new thing God is doing.
Let the wind blow again.
Reflection
What new thing might God be beginning in your life?
Are you willing to step into change if it means deeper obedience?
Pray today: “Lord, I welcome Your new work in me. Let Your Spirit move, and make me ready.”
