Take in Nourishment

Scripture

“Then Jesus declared, 'I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.'” — John 6:35 NIV

Devotional

During long storms, strength can fade. Weariness settles in. Fear drains energy. Discouragement makes it hard to keep going. That is why spiritual nourishment matters.

Jesus is the Bread of Life. He does not merely give temporary encouragement; He sustains the soul. His Word feeds faith. His presence renews strength. His promises give life when circumstances feel heavy.

Many believers try to survive storms spiritually malnourished. They are anxious, exhausted, and empty because they are feeding on worry, opinions, news, fear, or comparison instead of Christ.

You cannot control every storm, but you can choose what feeds your spirit in the middle of it.

Reflection

What have you been feeding your mind and heart lately?
Are you spiritually nourished or spiritually depleted?
