Make Room for God

“But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.” - Isaiah 43:18-19 NLT

God often brings us into new seasons by asking us to make room. Making room may require letting go of old mindsets, old wounds, old habits, or old ways of seeing ourselves. It may mean releasing control, forgiving someone, opening our hearts again, or saying yes to something that stretches us.
A new season with God does not always begin with a change in circumstances. Sometimes it begins with a change in surrender.
“Lord, Your way is better.”
Those words are easy to say but life-changing when truly lived. God’s way may challenge our traditions, preferences, comfort zones, and self-made plans. But His way leads to freedom. His way leads to healing. His way leads to deeper love, stronger faith, and greater purpose.
God is not finished with you. There is freedom still ahead. There are relationships He can restore. There are ministry opportunities He can open. There is joy He can renew. There is peace He can establish.
Make room. Let Him do what only He can do.

What is taking up space in my heart that God is asking me to release?
What new thing might God be inviting me into?
