Held in the Father’s Hand

John 10:27-29
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.” - John 10:27-29 ESV
Devotional
There is deep comfort in knowing that you are held by God. Life can feel unstable. People change. Circumstances shift. Emotions rise and fall. But the hand of God remains secure. Jesus says His sheep hear His voice, He knows them, and no one can snatch them from His hand.
That does not mean we will never face struggle. It does not mean we will never feel pressure, temptation, sorrow, or spiritual attack. But it does mean we are not abandoned in the middle of it. God’s grip is stronger than the enemy’s pull.
When you belong to Jesus, your security is not in your ability to hold everything together. Your security is in His power to hold you. You can rest in His grasp. You can trust His care. You can follow His voice, even when life feels loud. The world may shake, but the Father’s hand does not.

Where do I need to trust that God is holding me?

When you belong to Jesus, your security is not in your ability to hold everything together. Your security is in His power to hold you. You can rest in His grasp. You can trust His care. You can follow His voice, even when life feels loud. The world may shake, but the Father’s hand does not.
