Dr. Tatum connected a sound mind with the mind of Christ. God has given us a sound mind, but we must allow that mind to operate in us. The mind of Christ is humble, obedient, and willing to serve.
Jesus gave up His rights, humbled Himself, took on the form of a servant, and became obedient even unto death. If we want His mind, we must learn to surrender pride, selfish ambition, and the need to always be first. A sound mind is not controlled by fear or ego—it is submitted to God.
