When You Feel Like Quitting

Scripture

“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” — Galatians 6:9 NLT

Devotion

There are moments when even faithful people feel like quitting. Pastor Darren spoke honestly about weariness — the kind that makes you tired of fighting, tired of serving, tired of trying, and tired of carrying the weight.

Maybe you have said, “I don’t want to do this anymore.”

Maybe you have felt like quitting your calling, your family, your church, or even your walk with God.

But weariness is not failure. Being tired does not mean you are faithless. It means you are human.

The danger is not in feeling tired. The danger is in letting tiredness make your decisions. God calls us to persevere because there is a harvest attached to endurance. You may not see it yet, but your faithfulness is not wasted.

Do not quit in the valley. Do not stop in the middle of the process. God is still working, even when you are weary.
