Keep Pressing Through

Scripture

“She had heard the reports about Jesus and came up behind him in the crowd and touched his garment. For she said, 'If I touch even his garments, I will be made well.'” — Mark 5:27-28 ESV

Devotion

Pastor Darren spoke about the woman with the issue of blood. For twelve years she suffered. She spent her money. She searched for answers. She lived with disappointment, pain, and likely isolation. But one day, she heard Jesus was passing by.
She did not let the crowd stop her. She did not let her condition define her. She did not let exhaustion keep her away. She pressed through until she touched the hem of His garment.

Sometimes breakthrough comes after a long season of pressing. Sometimes healing comes after years of questions. Sometimes the next push is the one that brings you to Jesus.

Do not stop now. Keep praying. Keep seeking. Keep worshiping. Keep showing up. Keep reaching. The crowd may be thick, your strength may be low, and your heart may be tired — but Jesus is still close enough to touch.
