Invite Him In
Scripture
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. ” — Revelation 3:20 ESV
Devotion
Pastor Darren reminded us that people do not come to our homes simply because food is prepared—they come because they are invited. In the same way, we often expect the presence of God to fill our lives, our homes, and our churches, while failing to intentionally invite Him in.
Jesus is not forcing His way into our hearts. He stands at the door and knocks. He desires fellowship, closeness, and communion with us. But relationship requires response. We must open the door.
Today is not meant to be just another ordinary day. It can be a day of renewal, revival, and fresh surrender. The question is not whether Jesus is willing to come in. The question is whether we are willing to welcome Him fully.

Reflection
- Have I been expecting God to move without intentionally inviting Him into my life?
- Are there rooms in my heart I have kept closed off from Him?
- Take a moment today to pray: “Jesus, I invite You into every part of me.”
