Desire the Fire of the Holy Spirit

“And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with different tongues, as the Spirit was giving them the ability to speak out.” — Acts 2:4 NASB
Devotion
Pastor Darren clearly called the church back to being a Spirit-filled body. The Holy Spirit is not just a doctrine to believe in; He is the presence and power of God working in and through believers today.
The early church did not move forward in human strength alone. They were filled with the Spirit. They preached with boldness. They witnessed with power. They moved in gifts. They carried the fire of Pentecost into the world.
A church cannot live on spiritual memory. A believer cannot survive only on yesterday’s encounter. We need fresh surrender, fresh hunger, and fresh filling.
The baptism and fire of the Holy Spirit is not something we earn; it is something we receive. Like a gift, we come with open hands and hungry hearts. We ask. We seek. We surrender.

Am I hungry for more of the Holy Spirit in my life?
Spend time today asking God to fill you afresh and use you for His glory.
