Handle Conflict God’s Way

“If your brother sins, go and show him his fault in private; if he listens to you, you have gained your brother.” — Matthew 18:15 NASB
Devotion
Conflict will happen in the body because imperfect people make up the church. Different personalities, backgrounds, opinions, and wounds can create tension. But God has not left us without instruction.
Pastor Darren pointed to Scripture’s clear path: go to your brother or sister privately. Do not spread it. Do not recruit people to your side. Do not assume motives. Go with humility, truth, and love.
Matthew 5 also reminds us that if we remember someone has something against us, we should seek reconciliation. Worship and relationship are connected. We cannot claim to love God while refusing to pursue peace with people.
Reconciliation does not always mean everything instantly feels easy. But it does mean we choose obedience over offense. We choose truth over gossip. We choose restoration over division.

Have I talked about someone more than I have prayed for them or spoken to them?
