Pastor Darren called the church to remember that kingdom work takes all of us. Great and small. Young and old. New believers and seasoned saints. Every person has a place, and every place matters.
The church is not meant to be a crowd of spectators. It is the body of Christ. Bodies move when every part does its job. When one part refuses to function, the whole body feels it.
God is building something bigger than a service, a schedule, or a building. He is building a people who carry the gospel, love one another, serve faithfully, protect the next generation, and point others toward heaven.
The question is not whether there is work to do. The question is whether we will take our place.
