Fresh Bread for Today
Scripture
“God blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they will be satisfied.” - Matthew 5:6 NLT
Devotion
Pastor Darren reminded us that we cannot live on yesterday’s bread. Yesterday’s encounter with God was real, but today still requires fresh strength, fresh surrender, and fresh anointing.
Life can clog our hearts with worry, pressure, disappointment, temptation, and spiritual fatigue. But worship lifts our eyes above what surrounds us. When we exalt the Lord, we are declaring that He is higher than our anxiety, higher than our battle, and higher than the enemy’s accusations.
God fills hungry people. He meets those who thirst for Him. The question is not whether God has enough to give; the question is whether we are still hungry enough to ask.

Reflection
- What have you been trying to survive on from yesterday?
- Where do you need fresh strength from God today?
- Take a few minutes to worship before asking God for anything.
