A Time to Build

“There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every matter under heaven… a time to tear down and a time to build.”

Pastor Darren drew a box around Ecclesiastes 3 in his Bible and said he plans to start his mornings there. Why? Because it reminds him that God works in seasons, and this is a season to build.
For years the church has often hidden behind walls: bars on windows, filters on doors, unspoken rules about who fits and who doesn’t. But the season has shifted. Pastor Darren believes God is awakening a desire to build—not physical buildings, but the *kingdom*:
Building always involves work. It means tearing down personal agendas, preferences, and comforts so something greater can be raised. It means asking, “Lord, what are You building in this season, and how do I put my hands to it?”
If God says it’s a time to build, then the worst thing we can do is sit still. You may not feel ready, qualified, or gifted, but seasons are set by God, not by your feelings. He is the master builder; you are the willing laborer.
