Sacrifice and Worship

Scripture

Romans 12:1 (NLT): “And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.”

Devotion

True worship involves sacrifice. In the Old Testament, sacrifices preceded entering the Holy of Holies, where God's presence dwelled. Today, we are called to be living sacrifices, offering our lives in worship. It’s not about grand gestures but daily acts of surrender.

Reflection

What does it mean to be a living sacrifice in your daily life? How can you offer yourself to God in a way that reflects true worship?

Prayer

Father, help me to offer my daily life as a living sacrifice to You. Let my actions, thoughts, and words reflect true worship, drawing me closer to Your presence. Amen.
