Victories Behind Worship
Scripture
1 Samuel 21:8-9 (NLT): “David asked Ahimelech, ‘Do you have a spear or sword? The king’s business was so urgent that I didn’t even have time to grab a weapon!’ ‘I only have the sword of Goliath...’ the priest replied. ‘It is wrapped in a cloth behind the ephod. Take that if you want it, for there is nothing else here.’”
Devotion
David discovered that his past victory, the sword of Goliath, was hidden behind the ephod, a garment of worship. We often find victory hidden in worship. When we prioritize praise and surrender our struggles in worship, we position ourselves to receive God's victories.

Are there victories in your life that you haven't claimed because you've neglected worship? How can you make worship a daily priority to unlock God's promises?

Lord, teach me to prioritize worship in my life. Help me to discover the victories You have for me as I focus on praising You. May my worship be genuine, drawing me closer to Your heart. Amen.
