Living as Salt and Light
Scripture
Matthew 5:13-14 NLT - “You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless. You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden."
Devotion
As the salt and light of the world, we are called to preserve and illuminate. When we lose our flavor, we no longer fulfill our purpose. Our commitment is to reflect Christ in every aspect of life.
Reflection
Are you living as salt and light in your community? How can you better preserve the truth and shine your light for others?
Prayer
Lord, let me be salt and light in my world. Help me to preserve Your truth and shine brightly, leading others to the hope I have in You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
